A method of preparing graphene, the method comprising: doping graphene with a composition for preparing graphene to obtain doped graphene, the composition for preparing graphene comprising a nitrogen containing organic compound, an oxidizing agent, and an acid, wherein the composition for preparing graphene comprises: a nitrogen-containing organic compound; an oxidizing agent; and an acid, wherein the nitrogen-containing organic compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) imidazole, (ii) benzimidazole, (iii) imidazole substituted with at least one of deuterium, methyl group, and ethyl group, and (iv) benzimidazole substituted with at least one of deuterium, methyl group, and ethyl group.
