Few-layer Bi₂Se₃ grown on monolayer WS₂ imprints the Bi₂Se₃ A₁(3) surface phonon onto WS₂ excitonic photoluminescence, producing evenly spaced emission peaks consistent with an exciton-phonon quasiparticle. Low-temperature polarized Raman spectroscopy reveals strong Bi₂Se₃ surface phonons and symmetry breaking consistent with interlayer coupling.Read more
