An artifact comprising, first and second graphene layers; and a plurality of carbon nanotubes extending from said first graphene layer to said second graphene layer such that said first graphene layer is spaced away from said second graphene layer by said plurality of carbon nanotubes, wherein said plurality of carbon nanotubes second graphene layers.
A method of fabricating a graphene-carbon alternately depositing graphene layers and catalytic stack of alternating graphene layers and catalytic metal layers into arrays of metal nanoparticles by layers; and (c) precipitating carbon nanotubes nanotubes pushing graphene layers adjacent to the are electrically connected to said first and nanotube stack, comprising the steps of (a) metal layers one upon another so as to form a metal layers; (b) transforming the catalytic thermal breakdown of the catalytic metal outward from the metal nanoparticles, said carbon carbon nanotubes away from each other.
